Woman’s Day Editor-in-Chief meets Trax

To say that Fiona Connolly, Editor-in-Chief at Woman’s Day, has a busy lifestyle, might be a bit of an understatement. Fiona’s life was a perfect match for the zippy Holden Trax. Small but tall, the roomy interior fits all you could ever need - while still being easy to park in the tightest streets. Also, the Trax is loaded with tech that keeps you connected and able to pump your own tracks with ease.

Fiona was quick to grab the keys. “As a magazine editor, I’ve been asked to test many weird and wonderful products over the years, but nothing has been quite as adventurous as the past week I’ve spent running around Sydney test driving a car'' she said.

Trax’s punchy 1.4L turbo engine immediately inspired confidence.

I was absolutely loving zipping in Sydney’s traffic. To be able to duck and weave in heavy traffic - I’m a massive lane-changer, sorry Sydney drivers!

Trax Hero

Fiona loves being up high on the road without feeling like she’s driving a tractor, and her regular drive is a medium-sized SUV. The seat height of this small SUV was one of her biggest surprises, “where the Holden Trax might be on the small side, it is tall!”, adding:

You won’t have to bend or twist to get into this car. And with a push-button engine start, it was a treat to not have to find the keys in my massive handbag.

It wasn’t just the power and ride position that made Fiona feel in control, saying “the connectivity of the Holden Trax was a cinch. In seconds I had a simple Bluetooth connection to my phone. For once in my life I didn’t have to call on my son to come and sort me out!”

Talking about the boys, even they enjoyed plenty of space as she explains “the big test… was I going to fit my two boys, a seven-year-old who likes to save all his arguments with his brother for the car, and the other, Australia’s longest-legged 13-year-old? Plus, their enormous school bags and a week’s groceries?”

We had no doubt that Trax could handle everything the Connolly clan threw in it, with Fiona in full agreement. “TICK! Not only did we survive the trip without an all-in brawl, but I also fit in a carton of beer for my partner, returning home, at least in my mind, a hero!”

So if you can relate to Fiona’s busy life, we reckon you’d be pretty happy behind the wheel of a Holden Trax too. And while we can’t promise it’ll reduce the time you spend in traffic, we can ensure that the ride will be far more enjoyable.
