Holden drives into the future
With a range of cars and SUVs stretching from the Trax to the big 4WD Trailblazer, Holden has a vehicle for just about everyone.
So as a means of showcasing its exciting lineup as the company enters a new era, it recently pulled together a diverse group of Holden friends and collaborators to drive some of the range at the Lang Lang Proving Ground.
Among those enjoying a fabulous day out were model Kris Smith, Bachelorette star Sasha Mielczarek, mummy blogger Brooke Iseppi, pro-surfer Matt Wilkinson, model Sam Harris and AFL footballer and Young Victorian of the Year, Jason Ball.
All got to push the cars to the limit on the high-speed bowl and the ride and handling circuit, as well as going bush, with plenty of fun rivalry emerging as teams then battled each other for fastest times in the Astra challenge.
And judging by the flood of Instagram posts, everyone had a great day exploring the Holden range.
But it didn’t stop at the proving ground with all then joining Holden for dinner and a sneak peek at the new Equinox.
With the mid-sized SUV not due on sale until early next year, it was wearing camouflage, but this was no ordinary camo. To create a more eye catching design and draw attention to the car without giving too much away, Holden partnered with Australian actress and musician, Natalie Bassingthwaighte and her clothing brand Chi Khi.
The Chi Khi design can be seen on three Equinox models undergoing final testing on roads around Melbourne and if you spot one, snap a pic, upload it to your Instagram and tag it with #HoldenEquinox and you can be in with a chance to win a trip for two to Noosa*.
And while you are on Instagram, check out all the posts from all our Holden friends.
