Barina Spark offers Automatic appeal
Holden's baby Barina Spark just became a whole lot more appealing with the addition of a new automatic transmission model.
Joining the five-speed manual Barina Spark CD, the new model will further strengthen Holden's light car line up and offer customers even greater urban convenience says Holden Marketing Manager for Small & Medium Vehicles, Emma Pinwill.
"When we introduced Barina Spark, we said it was our intention to offer an automatic transmission as soon as we could," Pinwill says.
"With nearly 70% of light cars sold featuring an automatic transmission and sales growing within the segment, now is a great time to be introducing this option to the Barina Spark line up."
The new smooth automatic transmission is mated to the same perky and efficient 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine found in the manual Barina Spark that delivers refined and economical urban driving.
It also shares all that car's other great features including its sporty styling - that comes courtesy of the standard sports body kit, rear roof spoiler and 14-inch alloy wheels - and the latest technology with Bluetooth® and USB / iPod® connectivity fitted as standard.
In addition to the new automatic transmission option, the Barina Spark is now available with two new prestige paint colours Bluebell Blue and Honey Mellow Yellow - perfect hues to add a little spark to your motoring experience.
